What is the EPEAI?
The Economic Perspective on Artificial Intelligence (EPEAI) is an international academic conference series focusing on the economic, business, and policy implications of artificial intelligence (AI). The series brings together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to analyse how AI technologies affect firms, markets, labour, and governance. Founded in 2023 by Hochschule Ruhr West (HRW) in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, the EPEAI has since expanded to include partner institutions in South Africa and the United Kingdom. It is regarded as one of the first recurring scientific formats dedicated exclusively to the economic perspective on AI.
Who organizes the conference?
The EPEAI conference is organized by a dedicated team from the Hochschule Ruhr West (HRW) in collaboration with the hosting institution. Our mission is to create a dynamic platform that fosters the exchange of the latest advancements in AI and Economics. Through insightful presentations and discussions led by renowned experts, we aim to keep you informed and inspired by cutting-edge research and developments in the field.
